qUANTITATIVE RESEARCH EXPERT
Isimpact is looking for a researcher with specific expertise on quantitative research methods applied to health and well-being social studies, for the implementation of the H2020 Research & Innovation Project IN-HABIT.
The researcher will work in a multidisciplinary research team under the supervision of the director of research. He/she will contribute to the implementation of the tasks assigned to Isimpact within the IN-HABIT project, which relate to the evaluation of the project's results in terms of Inclusive Health and Wellbeing in 4 European cities (Cordoba, Lucca, Nitra, Riga).
More specifically, the researcher will contribute to the collection and analysis of quantitative data by liaising with the teams of local co-researchers in the four pilot cities and with the rest of the research team of Isimpact. He/she will participate in project’s meetings with the international partners of IN-HABIT as well as contributing to the production of related research report and deliverables in English.
Requested qualifications: masters degree in statistics or social sciences and a post-graduate qualification or relevant research experience (min 2 years) in the field of quantitative research applied to health and well-being studies.
It will be preferable to have carried out research projects in English in the area of interest, especially in the context of the H2020 or MSCA Fellowship Program.
Personal skills: excellent English (spoken/written), data interpretation, presentation and communication skills, capacity to write research products/reports, numeral and analytical techniques, advanced use of MS Excel, tools for computer assisted web interviews (such as Limesurvey, MS Forms, Google Forms), advanced use of data analysis programs (like SPSS), knowledge of data security and anonymization practices and tools, organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
The initial job period will be from September 2021 to February 2022. The fee will be calculated in relation to the commitment, qualifications and research experience.

Isimpact è alla ricerca di un ricercatore/una ricercatrice con competenze specifiche sui metodi di ricerca quantitativa applicati agli studi sociali sulla salute e sul benessere, per l'implementazione del Progetto Ricerca & Innovazione H2020 IN-HABIT.
Il ricercatore/la ricercatrice lavorerà in un gruppo di ricerca multidisciplinare sotto la supervisione del direttore della ricerca. Contribuirà alla realizzazione dei compiti assegnati ad Isimpact nell'ambito del progetto IN-HABIT, che riguardano la valutazione dei risultati del progetto in termini di Salute e Benessere Inclusivi in 4 città europee (Cordoba, Lucca, Nitra, Riga).
Nello specifico, il ricercatore/la ricercatrice contribuirà alla raccolta e all'analisi di dati quantitativi, collaborando con i team di co-ricercatori locali nelle quattro città pilota e con il resto del team di ricerca di Isimpact. Parteciperà agli incontri di progetto con i partner internazionali di IN-HABIT e contribuirà alla produzione dei relativi rapporti di ricerca e deliverables in inglese.
Titoli richiesti: laurea magistrale in statistica o scienze sociali e un titolo di studio post-laurea o esperienza di ricerca pertinente (min 2 anni) nel campo della ricerca quantitativa applicata agli studi sulla salute e sul benessere.
Costituirà titolo di preferenza l’avere svolto progetti di ricerca in lingua inglese nell'area di interesse, soprattutto nell'ambito del programma H2020 o MSCA Fellowship.
Competenze personali: ottimo inglese (parlato / scritto), capacità di interpretazione del dato, presentazione e comunicazione, capacità di scrivere prodotti / rapporti di ricerca, tecniche numeriche e analitiche, uso avanzato di MS Excel, strumenti per interviste web assistite da computer (come Limesurvey, MS Forms, Google Moduli), uso avanzato di programmi per l’analisi dei dati (come SPSS), conoscenza della sicurezza dei dati e pratiche e strumenti di anonimizzazione, capacità organizzative e capacità di lavorare con scadenze ravvicinate.
Il periodo di lavoro iniziale sarà da settembre 2021 a febbraio 2022. Il compenso sarà calcolato in relazione all'impegno, ai titoli e all'esperienza di ricerca posseduti.
