maria dentale – researcher
What is the contribution that the evaluation can provide for an innovative and non-mainstream analysis of the impacts of policies to defeat social exclusion? How can evaluation represent an opportunity for improvement for decision makers and implementers of social policies? Faced with these questions, Maria Dentale has developed a theoretical and empirical reflection aimed at experimenting innovative research solutions, useful for answering complex evaluation questions, which engage researchers in the difficult - but stimulating - objective of reconstructing changes (expected and unexpected ) in the lifestyles of the beneficiaries of social inclusion policies. Through research designs inspired by the use of street level evaluation, Maria Dentale has shown how evaluation can outline new opportunities for redemption and listening for the implementers of policies to combat poverty (social workers, psychologists, educators), involved in a process of evaluative reflection aimed at improving operational intervention strategies and increasing the resources (symbolic and motivational) of the organizational settings.
