Roberta Cocchioni – Director and Impact Strategist

Roberta is the founder Director and Impact Strategist of isIMPACT.

Outside isIMPACT: She is a project manager and evaluator with 12 years experience advising SMEs, non profit organizations and public institutions on the development, management and evaluation of cross-sectoral projects and strategies in the field of urban sustainable development, discrimination and social inclusion, gender equality and social innovation.

As national expert on gender equality and non discrimination, she serves the Italian Department of Equal Opportunities of the Italian Presidency of the Council of Ministers as well as the Italian Cohesion Agency, where she is involved in the policy programming as well as in the management and evaluation of EU-funded National and Regional Programmes for gender equality, labour and social inclusion of groups at risk of discrimination.

She has worked as expert evaluator of the European Commission within the Horizon2020 Programme, FP7 Programme and the Urban Innovative Action Initiative. She has an extensive expertise on project design and management, impact assessment tools and methodologies, also working as trainer and mentor for non profit organizations, public institutions and SMEs in this field.

She worked as editorial coordinator of the award-winning web tv “Europocket tv” as well as member of the editorial board of the human rights magazine “Near”.

She served as founding board member of the social enterprise Artisti Moderni ONLUS, where she was responsible for numerous social research programmes in collaboration with major Italian research institutes like CENSIS, Fondazione Luigi Di Liegro, IPRS.

She was also founding director and spokesperson of the national network of associations Generazioni Moderne, where she coordinated various youth social engagement and information programmes.

Education: Roberta has a master’s degree in Enterprise Communication.
